A native Texan, Edward Fraim has been lucky enough to have performed on stages around the country for over 20 years. Originally a classical voice student, he widened his love of the arts to include theater and dance; studying at 4 colleges and continuing to learn from the wealth of experienced talent and knowledge here in Chicago. A resident now for 8 years Edward has gratefully had the opportunity to work with PFP previously in Love Sucks, a reading of Honor: A New Musical and more recently in Simply Sensational 3. He has also worked with other great Chicago companies including Bohemian Theater Ensemble, Bailiwick Chicago, Billy Pacholksi and GoForth Productions, Factory Theater, Proscenium Productions, Noble Fool Theatricals, Hell In A Handbag Productions and more. Between productions Edward continues acting with work at many of the medical schools around the Greater Chicago area as a Practical Instructor for medical and nursing students and as a standardized patient. This work can be fun and very interesting including roles with issues like schizophrenia, alcoholism, meningitis, terminal cancer, musculo-skeletal problems, speech and learning disorders and others. As rewarding as that work can be Edward’s passion is fulfilled on stage and he is thankful to PFP and everyone else for helping to make that a possibility. He respectfully joins this very talented group of artists and, with Pride, looks graciously forward to the exciting future.
