Women’s Words Film Fest

Pride Films and Plays announces seven short films and two episodes from Tello Films receiving their Chicago premieres during Pride Films and Plays Women’s Words Film Festival at the Public House Theatre (3914 N Clark) on September 15th, 2014. Tickets can be ordered here. Films chosen for the fest include an innocent teenage story of breaking boundaries, a sexy 30 year old woman crashing a teenage party in the South of France, an exploration of love inspired by Robert Frost and glue, the genuine quirks of young love, a betrayal of true love, and a British Lesbian comedy of unforeseen family intimacy. And the featured web series Rent Controlled is a comedy of unfortunate events: Heather can’t move out, and can’t move on. When the love of Heather’s life decides to break up with her the day after they move in together, she has to decide if she should move on, move out, or put on the moves that would win back Jennifer’s heart in this work from Tello Films.
