‘The Boys in Briefs’ – Final Performance!

Chicago, IL – PFP’s new singing quartet The Boys In Briefs made their sensational debut at Uptown Underground to a raucous sold out crowd on January 26 in Boys in Briefs: At the Beach! And now the Boys are prepping for their final performance on April 26. This upbeat evening of summertime features Emmy Award-winner Scott Gryder, Travis Austin Wright, and PFP Company Members and the stars of PFP’s The Boy From Oz, Chris Logan and Luke Meierdiercks. The program features sizzling classics from George Gershwin, Kander and Ebb, the Drifters and the Beach Boys, along with selections from today’s pop favorites. David Zak directs with musical direction from Nick Sula and eye-popping costumes from Raquel Adorno. Patrick Murphy is the Stage Manager. **JEFF RECOMMENDED** – ‘The Book of Merman’ Now At The Apollo!

Pride Films and Plays Jeff Recommended production of The Book of Merman continues at Apollo Studio Theatre through May 17. The new musical comedy by Jeff Award-winning author Leo Schwartz has been playing to sellout crowds at Mary’s Attic in Andersonville since its opening on January 17, 2015. Showtimes at the Apollo are 7:30 pm on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays; and 3:30 pm on Sundays. Songs From An Unmade Bed

Pride Films and Plays Presents the Chicago professional premiere of Songs from an Unmade Bed, a theatrical song cycle with lyrics by Mark Campbell. Directed by Derek Van Barham, Musical Direction by Robert Ollis March 27 – April 27, 2014 at The Apollo Theater Studio Pride Films and Plays continues its 2013-14 season with Songs from an Unmade Bed,  a theatrical song cycle with lyrics by Mark Campbell.
