The Pride Arts Center (PAC) provides the best LGBT films their Chicago premieres. The Pride Film Festival is a monthly screening series dedicated to LGBT filmmakers, presenting audiences with internationally produced LGBT independent cinema every second Tuesday of the month at the Pride Arts Center (PAC) Broadway Theatre, 4139 N. Broadway in Chicago. This year-round film festival celebrates the international LGBT independent film scene while also bringing together and strengthening the Chicago LGBT filmmaking community with networking opportunities.
PAC currently seeks quality submissions for its Pride Film Festival which showcases feature length and short films. Submissions must include content related to the LGBT experience.
Entries may be submitted in one of the following categories: Drama, Comedy, Romance, Documentary, Animated, Sci Fi, Music Video, Student or Short film.
For 2019. the festival themes are lesbian films (January), love (February), trans films (March), bi-films (April), erotics (May), and Pride (June).
Festival Dates are generally the first or second Tuesday of each month.
